BOYS' BALLET UNIFORM
Boys taking ballet or boys' dance should wear black boys' ballet tights (with a dance belt if they are seven or older), black ballet shoes, and a white tee shirt. This uniform applies to male dancers at every level. If you have difficulty finding opaque black ballet tights in your dancer's size, an alternate option is black leggings with black socks, black ballet shoes, and a white tee shirt.
 

GIRLS' BALLET UNIFORMS  by level
For female dancers, the ballet uniform varies depending on level. All dancers will be required to wear footed tights, canvas or leather ballet shoes, and a plain leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments) of any cut with which the dancer is comfortable (tank style, spaghetti strap, short-sleeved, or long-sleeved) corresponding to their level:

Creative Movement/Pre-Ballet 1:  pink leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink footed tights, pink canvas or leather ballet shoes
Pre-Ballet 2:  white leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink footed tights, pink canvas or leather ballet shoes
Pre-Ballet 3 - Ballet 3:  black leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink footed tights, pink canvas or leather ballet shoes (or flesh-toned tights and shoes for Ballet 3B students, tights and shoes must match)
Ballet 4A-4B:  burgundy leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink- or flesh-colored footed tights, pink- or flesh-colored canvas or leather ballet shoes. Tights and shoes must match (all pink or all flesh-colored.)
Ballet 5:  royal blue leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink- or flesh-colored footed tights, pink- or flesh-colored canvas or leather ballet shoes. Tights and shoes must match (all pink or all flesh-colored.)
Ballet 6:  navy leotard (no attached skirts or other embellishments), pink- or flesh-colored footed tights, pink- or flesh-colored canvas or leather ballet shoes.  Tights and shoes must match (all pink or all flesh-colored.)

CHARACTER SHOES FOR RAD CLASSES & BALLET 3A-4B
Character shoes may be required for rehearsals and performances for levels Ballet 3A, 3B, 4A, and 4B.

Dancers taking jazz or musical theater may wear a solid-colored leotard or tee shirt paired with leggings or jazz pants.
